From sun, sightseeing, and trying a new skill, there is something for everyone. You can even look at cancelling your overseas timeshare with the help of Timeshare contract Cancellation services.
1. Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
Known as “The Nation’s Summer Capital” due to its proximity to Washington DC, Rehoboth Beach is full of amusements, gourmet dining, kitschy shops, and a fantastic sand-covered stretch of beach. Mr. Napoliano likes to indulge in classic candies at Dolle’s and relax under the sun while reading a good book while watching the waves. He suggests Henlopen City Oyster House and Blue Moon for some unforgettable dishes and the lobster tacos at Dos Locos. Sailing on the Cape May–Lewes Ferry that connects Cape May, New Jersey, and Lewes, Delaware is a fun activity. The ferry can accommodate cars, bikes, and other vehicles as well as foot passengers.
2. Sedona, Arizona
Sedona feels like an oasis in the desert. The night sky is dotted with thousands of stars, making stargazing a must for romantics and nature lovers in Sedona. When he prefers to take a day off hiking, there are jeep tours to help navigate the amazing Broken Arrow Trail. Surrounded by red rock formations, Sedona brings peace to visitors and excellent places to explore and enjoy the majesty of America’s natural wonders.
3. Savannah, Georgia
The architecture alone is worth the trip to Savannah. You’ll feel like you’re in a southern gothic novel as you drive by or stroll along the Spanish moss-lined streets and gaze upon some awe-inspiring grand homes in Georgia’s oldest city. Napolitano says that no stop in Savannah is complete without a walk along the riverfront for a treat at Savannah Candy Kitchen and to gaze upon the ships that glide by on the water.
4. Grand Teton National Park
Grand Teton National Park is in Wyoming. It is south of Yellowstone National Park and is easily accessible by flying into the town of Jackson. Mr. Napolitano suggests staying at the Jackson Lake Lodge for the Grand Teton Mountains’ ultimate view right outside the serene and inviting lobby window. Activities within the park include climbing, hiking, boating, camping, fishing, wildlife spotting, and biking. Moose, bison, grizzly bears, black bears, and elk are just some of the animals that call Grand Teton home. The park is excellent for people of all ages- even children can become junior park rangers.
5. Marco Island, Florida
Marco Island is a great place to go for golf lovers or anyone who wants to relax while looking at the pristine, calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Marco Island is close to Everglades National Park for outstanding nature watching and boating. The Marco Island Historical Museum is home to the famous Marco Cat statuette estimated at 1500 years old. It is renowned for its being almost entirely preserved and detailed as an artifact of its age. He suggests CJ’s on the Bay or Quinn’s on the Beach for dinner with a view.
