Who is Adam Milstein and What is His Background?

Adam Milstein was born in Haifa, Israel, to Jewish parents who migrated from Latin America. Given the diversity of Israeli immigrants and Jewish history, Adam has felt a strong connection to his Israeli and Jewish identity.  He served in the IDF and fought in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. After marrying Gila, obtaining a B.Sc. from the Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology, and fathering two daughters, Adam and his family moved to the United States.

After obtaining an MBA from USC, Adam built his career in commercial real estate and became a managing partner at Hager Pacific Properties. In the past twenty years, Adam has grown passionate about protecting the liberties and safety of the Jewish and American people and now focuses most of his time on impactful venture philanthropy.   ’

Upon migrating to the states, Adam and a group of other Americans of Israeli descent noticed the lack of Israeli American institutions that provide resources and networks to Israelis recently immigrated to America. This resulted in the establishment of the Israeli-American Council (IAC) which he co-founded and is now a board member and the  national chairman emeritus.

Adam appreciates finding solutions and filling the gaps with innovative organizations that help people flourish.

“In order to make a personal impact, I need to choose projects that are innovative and out of the box,” he says. “We are all comfortable doing the traditional charity activities, such as education and helping the needy, but I want to do the things that no one else is doing — going on the offensive against our enemies at a time and place that give us the advantage.”

What motivates Adam Milstein to Give Back to the Jewish Community and Support Israel?

He has also found that by connecting networks of organizations and philanthropists, he can make more of an everlasting impact with his personal and financial resources.

“Thousands of years ago, wise rabbi Hillel said, ‘If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, who am I? And if not now, when?’
