Cholula Hot Sauce Original is a chili based hot sauce that was first created in 1989 and is based in Stamford, Connecticut manufactured in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico and is licensed by the alcohol brand José Cuervo. The company has attempted to do brand extensions but these failed in 2009.
